I actually had an argument with some friends today at school as to whether my ‘95 4Runner is a truck or not. They insist it isn’t but I’m pretty sure it is. It’s literally just a Hilux with a bed cap and a carpeted bed.

The 4Runner was literally sold as the Hilux Surf in Japan until the end of the fourth gen.

Yeah IKR!!! They say it’s an SUV but it doesn’t count as a truck because they think midsize trucks are useless.
